Undertaken by CBITEC, the subcontracting project of 220 sets housing Santana André Pitra‘Petrof New City Phase I in Cabinda Province, has successfully passed the completion acceptance. Covering an area of approximately 49 hectares, the project includes a total of 3000 housing units (apartments), including public supporting facilities, primary school with 24 classrooms, shops, medical centers, police stations, sewage treatment plant, substations, and already in use water treatment plants. The Owner has inspected and evaluated the project from various aspects such as quality, progress, safety, and procedures, and believes that the project quality meets the design demands, the construction period meets the progress, and the project meets the demands of high-quality project standards.
Cabinda New City
On August 31st, the government and Owners held a completion ceremony for the project. The State Minister for Social Affairs of Angola announced that the completion of the Santana André Pitra‘Petrof Center is an important milestone in the government's implementation of the schedule to provide decent and affordable housing for the people. The Governor of Cabinda Province, Madam Mara Baptista Quiosa, stated that the construction of a housing center in Cabinda Province is undoubtedly a new chapter in the development history of the region. This measure not only has a positive influence on social development and solved the local property supply problem, but also allows future residents, especially young people who make up the largest proportion of the population, to access sustainable housing.

As a mother of 4 kids and one of the beneficiaries of the Santana André Pitra‘Petrof community, Delfina Pemba,a 38-year-old lady, said that owning a house in a community with superior living conditions is her dream, and today she is very happy because her dream has come true. She is very grateful to CBITEC for completing the project with high quality in a short period of time, which enabled her dream to come true.
CBITEC expressed that in order to deeply cultivate Angola, we must benefit the people, become an enterprise that allows the local people to trust, expect, and benefit them, ensure the project quality, control the construction period, and continue to participate in more social housing projects in Angola.
