President Joao Lourenco expressed his appreciation for CBITEC's active participation in Angola's infrastructure construction, promotion of local economic and social development over the years. He said that the bilateral relationship between Angola and China has been developing well, with deepening political mutual trust and fruitful practical cooperation.As a representative of Chinese enterprises, CBITEC has built a large number of landmark projects in Angola in the fields of energy and electricity, road, housing construction, etc. He expressed his welcome that CBITEC shall continue to give full play to its advantages of globalization, diversification and specialization, and participate more projects that benefit people's well-being in Angola and help Angola's national development and revitalization. The Angolan government will, as always, create a favorable environment to better achieve mutual benefits and win-win situation.
Mr. Liu Ziqiang appreciated President Joao Lourenco and the Angolan government for the trust and support they have always given to CBITEC, and briefly introduced the company's business development in Angola. He said that CBITEC has always regarded Angola as an important country market, and the cooperation between the two sides has been deep and broad, and the results have been expanding. CBITEC is willing to work with the relevant departments of the Angolan government and enterprises to fully implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, to carry forward the traditional friendship, to expand the mutually beneficial cooperation, and to contribute to the promotion of the two countries' friendship and cooperation to make new progress.Moreover,the two sides also exchanged views on a number of specific projects and reached a good consensus.
The meeting was also attended by the Angolan Minister of State for Economic Coordination,José de Lima Massano, the Minister of Finance, VERA ESPERANÇA DOS SANTOS DAVES DE SOUSA, the Minister of Mines and Energy, DIAMANTINO PEDRO AZEVEDO, and the Chairman of Endiama, José Manuel Ganga Júnior.
